The Deputy Co-ordinator Vacancy:

As Deputy Co-ordinator of the MCC, you will assist with the planning, day to day organisation and operation of the afterschool club, providing high quality play opportunities and care for children in an inclusive environment, and in accordance with the ethos of Mylnhurst. You will also ensure that the club’s Safeguarding Children policy and procedures are followed at all times, and that concerns are raised in accordance with these. Additionally, the deputy, along with coordinator will line manage all the play workers who work in the setting.

The children’s club is open from 7.30am to 9.00am and 15.00 to 18.00 Monday to Friday in school term only.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 teaching assistant qualification/Level 3 qualification in playwork, or be able to provide evidence they are working towards this.
