Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Awal (KBZA) School is currently seeking to recruit a high-performing MYP/DP SEN Teacher to join the team.

The successful candidate should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in special education.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in SEN, IB teaching certification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in teaching students with SEN.
  • Experience within IB MYP/DP frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to clearly articulate instructions, provide feedback, and engage with students, parents, and colleagues in both languages.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
  • In-depth understanding of SEN teaching strategies, including the use of assistive technologies and adaptive learning techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage individual education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Comprehensive experience and familiarity with IB philosophy and inquiry-based learning.
  • Ability to use assessment data to inform instruction and intervention.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and student-centered learning environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
