Native Level English Teacher

The Near East Schools in Nicosia, Cyprus exist to provide educational experiences and challenges to support each student in achieving academic excellence in a safe and caring environment and by using modern pedagogical techniques and the latest technologies.

We are looking to appoint a full time native-level English teacher for our bilingual pre-school. They must be reliable and highly motivated in order to teach the Early Years Programme which is mainly in English with additional Turkish classes which are taught by locally qualified teachers.

For the position, the candidate must be UK trained or have relevant UK curriculum experience, have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience, have good interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate commitment to the school ethos.

We would also welcome applications for vacancies opening up in our primary and secondary schools. In addition to the above requirements, we would also require applicants to be qualified in their subject area, hold a PGCE or equivalent.
