Wimbledon High School are seeking to appoint an experienced Netball Coach to work with our teams alongside the Head of Netball. Netball is one of the major sports for girls at Wimbledon High with 300 girls from years 7 to 13 taking part in training and matches.
This key role will continue to build on the School’s Netball reputation at County Level. In recent years, our teams have competed in the qualifying rounds and have made the finals across all age groups. In 2019, the U12A team were crowned County Champions and the U13A team made it to the quarter-finals of the National Cup. Our U14A Team have just qualified for the Regional Finals.
The successful candidate will have proven netball coaching experience to a high level supported by a relevant coaching/sport qualifications (level 2 coaching qualification is desirable but not essential). The ability to inspire and enthuse across all levels is essential as is a professional manner and the ability to communicate concisely and sensitively to a variety of audiences.
