Required for September 2018
Netball at St Albans High School for Girls is one of our major winter sports and is extremely popular throughout the School. We are looking to recruit a confident experienced coach, who is flexible, dynamic and enthusiastic whilst able to communicate their passion for netball in a professional and engaging manner.
The Netball Coach will work to support girls at all levels in our programme; assisting and leading coaching sessions alongside coaching and umpiring matches. We wish to maintain our high levels of performance and work towards further success in National competitions and require a coach who can work confidently with our girls at this level. The Netball Coach will work closely with the Head of Netball and other teaching staff to develop all aspects of the programme.
Our squads enjoy considerable success and enter competitions at District, County, Regional and National level. We have been at the National Schools Finals for the past three years and have also regularly progressed through to the latter stages of the Independent Schools Netball Cup. Additionally, we have toured Australia, Barbados, South Africa and Sri Lanka.
Our Netball Coach will work on a self-employed sessional basis. Hourly rate is dependent upon the level of coaching qualification and experience. Tournament days are paid at a flat rate.

The High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
