An exciting opportunity currently exists within Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton. We are seeking a full-time (38hpw) Network Administrator to join our team with an immediate commencement. Office location to be determined and mutually agreed upon based on successful applicant.

Catholic Education serves approximately 17 000 students across 10 kindergartens, 31 primary schools and 8 secondary colleges within the Diocese of Rockhampton, striving to provide life-long faith education, relevant, holistic, quality education and assisting all in their search for meaning for life. Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton serves communities from Bundaberg in the south to Mackay in the north and west to Longreach.

About the role

The Network Administrator will serve as a member of the Information Technology Team and under broad guidance of the Information Technology Manager, provide high level support to staff of Catholic Education to ensure the effective and efficient operation of their computer technology.

Mandatory requirements
  • Have a commitment to the ethos and values of Catholic Education
  • Have relevant tertiary qualifications (ITIL V3 Foundations an advantage)
  • A valid “positive notice blue card” issued under the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 as amended from time to time.
