Dar Al Marefa is an IB World School offering a bilingual education in English and Arabic. In 2019, we will move to a new state of the art campus we have developed alongside Pritzker Price award winning architects RCR Arquitectes of Spain, with the aim of creating a healthy and enjoyable learning environment for our students, teachers and wider community. The new campus will cater to 2000 students across the 3 programs of PYP, MYP and DP.

The role:

This is a Middle Leadership position offering an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, dynamic team who provide excellent quality learning and teaching to children.
You will offer experience and a proven track record of leading EYFS learning and teaching provision. Whilst modelling outstanding practice as a class teacher you will possess the ability to cultivate all practitioners’ knowledge, skills and understanding of best practice in EYFS provision, develop a high quality, child-centred learning environment and embed an effective system of assessment that is robust, accurate and informs future provision.

Requirements:

  • BA in Education or equivalent;
  • A minimum of three years teaching experience in IB or English National Curriculum in an outstanding/good EYFS setting;
  • Clear understanding of and appreciation for the effective use of assessment data to inform teaching;
  • Excellent organisation, commitment and work ethic;
  • Experience in a Leadership role with proven ability to build, lead and inspire a team;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Determination and ability to supply the best educational experience in the world.
