Following the promotion of one of our Music teachers, and in order to further develop this high-achieving department, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and dedicated Newly Qualified Teacher of Music to join this Outstanding school from September 2019. You would be working in a highly ambitious and successful Music Department, with an excellent track record of exam success, both in Music and Music Technology, and extracurricular achievement.

The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher and musician, with a strong commitment to Music both in and out of the classroom. Knowledge of Music Technology and good keyboard skills are not essential but would be an advantage. Applications are open to NQTs.  The school has a strong history of providing support to NQTs.  You would receive quality professional development with access to a dedicated professional mentor and subject specific mentor. The school also offers excellent promotion prospects and a comprehensive induction programme and in-house CPD programme.

Charters School is a very heavily over-subscribed 11-18 Comprehensive Academy School with 1700 students on roll (including 390 in the Sixth Form) located in Sunningdale, Ascot, Berkshire.  It is a dynamic, high-achieving secondary school where students are polite, motivated to succeed and enjoy their education.   The school provides a complete range of opportunities for students to achieve well academically and for successful personal development within a caring and supportive environment.
