Nursery and Reception Classroom Teacher
Fixed Term until Aug 2020

As we grow our school we are looking for an excellent Nursery/Reception teacher to join our team who have high expectations of achievement for all pupils. In January we will have two EYFS classes, each with Nursery and Reception children. You will have a good understanding of high quality teaching, strong interpersonal and organisational skills, be highly motivated and passionate about raising standards for children of all abilities.

The successful candidate will

  • Be a qualified practitioner who holds QTS or equivalent and an undergraduate degree;
  • Have excellent EYFS curriculum knowledge
  • Be committed to achieving high standards
  • Have the ability to inspire children
  • Be committed to working with parents and the wider school community.
  • Be creative and flexible with a good sense of humour

About Poole's Park Primary School

Pooles Park Primary School is a non-denominational, non-selective, co-educational community school for children aged 3-11. It is situated in Islington in North London. There are currently 300 children on its roll.

Pooles Park Primary School was first opened on 10th January 1876 by the Lord Mayor of London, Sir Thomas White and offers a rich and fulfilling teaching and learning environment in Finsbury Park. They have a national award winning garden where children learn about growing food and sustainability.
