Herries Preparatory School is an independent mixed day school for students aged 2 -11. The school is located in Berkshire, in the village of Cookham Dean near Maidenhead. Around 100 pupils currently attend Herries School. Our classes are small, allowing teachers to offer each child a high level of individual attention. The pastoral care is often praised – pupils feel safe within the school environment.

Founded in 1937, Herries Preparatory School is based within an Edwardian house, which once belonged to the "Wind in the Willows" author Kenneth Grahame.
