If so, Bushey St James Trust (BSJT) has a fantastic opportunity for you!   Our Nursery Assistants support the Nursery Manager at Little Gems Nursery, for 6 month – 3 year old children which opened in September 2018 and is located at Little Reddings Primary School.  

Little Gems is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm weekdays during term-time and we are looking for Nursery Assistants to cover these hours on a split basis.  Hours available are 1.00pm to 6.00pm or 8.00am to 10.00am and/or 4.00pm to 6.00pm all week.  There could be some flexibility with these hours for the right individuals who are also willing to provide cover for additional hours in the event of staff absence.  

A minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification is essential and the successful candidates will be passionate about providing a high level of childcare. They will be able to demonstrate a love of learning with children ensuring that their individual needs are met and be able to build positive working relationships with the nursery team, children and their parents/carers.

The salary for the posts is APT&C points 6 –9 + fringe (actual salary range for a 25 hours per week post is £11,265p.a. to £11,954p.a. + £513p.a.). Actual salary point offered will depend on skills and experience. 

Bushey St James Trust is a great place to work and is made up of Bushey Meads School, Little Reddings Primary School and Hartsbourne Primary School.  Transport links are good with the M1, M25, A1 and A41 being close by and local bus routes are only a short walk.
