We are excited to appoint a Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join our small and friendly team in our nursery/pre-school here at Beechbuds, linked to Eccleston Primary School, Chorley.

The provision operates in two rooms and we are looking to add a skilled, caring and positive member of staff to our 3-4 year old room. We have wonderful children and caring and committed staff and we offer you great support in your role.

We are looking for someone who is committed to the children and has the drive to give the children the best experience and learning possible. We have wonderful grounds and would like someone who is keen to support the children both inside in provision and outside with creativity and adventure.

The hours are 8:45am - 3:30pm and the contract is based on working 5 days a week for 38 weeks of the year. Much of this will be during term time but with some weeks out of term time. The weeks are agreed at the beginning of each year between the staff and we can offer free childcare for any children between the ages of 2 and 11 years in Beechbuds or in our school's holiday club out of term time. On top of this, there will be opportunities for working additional hours from 7:45am in the morning and until 5:45pm in the evening at our breakfast club and after-school club provision on some occasions.

The wage is based on minimum wage which is varied depending upon your age.

Essential: NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Childcare (or equivalent). Previous work or work experience within a nursery or pre-school setting.
