Hazlegrove Prep School are looking to appoint a full-time Nursery Assistant to start at the beginning of our Summer Term (19 April 2022). The candidate will have outstanding Early Years’ experience and be an enthusiastic and engaging professional. 

Working alongside the Head of Nursery and within the Nursery team the candidate will care for the daily needs of the children. 

Responsibilities include helping to plan and present lessons and activities in accordance with the EYFS. The successful candidate will be responsible for a small group of Key Children and will maintain all records and keep up to date observations linked to the EYFS. They will work closely with all other members of the team, to provide an outstanding learning environment and liaise and build strong links with parents.  

A secure understanding of the EYFSP, a full and relevant Level 3 qualification and good I.T. skills are essential.  Experience in using an online learning journal e.g. Tapestry is highly desirable.  The successful candidate will also be required to undertake Before and After-School Care duties.
