This is an exciting career opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic and hardworking early year’s practitioner to join the leadership team at Feversham First Steps day Nursery as a Deputy Manager. If you are motivated, dedicated and a team player then this position would be ideal for you. You will work with Senior Management to achieve excellent standards within the setting.
Feversham First Steps – on the site of Feversham College is looking for:
 
A Deputy Manager to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30 am to 5.30 pm term time only + 4 weeks in the first instance – based on a shift pattern of 35 hours per week. We are offering £9 per hour

To ensure the continued success of the nursery we wish to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Deputy Manager.

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead and manage the day to day activities of the colleagues
  • Provide support to the Nursery Manager
  • Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members

Required skills and experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 child care qualification
  • Previous experience of working within a leadership role
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
