If so, Bushey St James Trust (BSJT) has a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice to join our growing multi academy Trust.
The successful person will support the Nursery Manager with the development of our new ‘Little Gems Nursery’, which opened in September 2018. Little Gems is an exciting new initiative to support members of staff employed across BSJT and is located at Little Reddings Primary School. Little Gems Nursery is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm weekdays, during term-time and benefits from access to a wide range of learning environments both onsite and within the local community.
The successful candidate will be:
• Positive, confident, calming, friendly and polite
• Passionate about providing a high level of childcare for children aged 6 months - 3 years
• Able to demonstrate a love of learning with children, ensuring that their individual needs are met
• Able to work as part of a team; building positive working relationships
• An effective communicator
• Reliable and punctual
This position is well suited to a school leaver that is looking to begin a career in Early Years, gaining hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace as well as working towards nationally recognised qualifications. The successful candidate will be given a mentor and guided throughout their apprenticeship.
The salary for the post will depend on age and experience (in accordance with legislation) but will be a minimum of £5.20 per hour.
Bushey St James Trust is a great place to work and is made up of Bushey Meads School, Little Reddings Primary School and Hartsbourne Primary School. Transport links are good with the M1, M25, A1 and A41 being close by and local bus routes are only a short walk away.
