Job overview

Prince’s Mead is seeking to appoint a Nursery Leader who has significant experience within a Nursery setting, with the vision and initiative to establish an outstanding Nursery, to complement a school that is experiencing a healthy demand for places. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join our committed and creative team where high quality learning, play and engagement are our priority.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent Nursery practitioner, able to work within a supportive team and who places the child’s experience at the heart of their practice. The school is a very exciting and fast-moving environment so they should be confident to work independently, build strong relationships with parents and key staff, as well as being a flexible and committed team player. The successful applicant will be expected to use their talents to help to enrich the opportunities for pupils outside the curriculum and play a full part in the life of this vibrant school.

Prince’s Mead is a thriving and successful preparatory school for girls and boys in Winchester. In addition to our new Nursery, we provide a high-calibre education for all of our pupils from age 4 to 11.
