Job overview
Working at our Hackney campus, you will provide high quality care and activities for the children, ensure you are familiar with safeguarding policies and procedures, equal opportunities, behaviour management and health and safety and promote at all good relations and quality ethos between staff, parents and children.
You should have experience of working with under-fives and hold a minimum level 3 childcare qualification. You should also have a flexible, child-centred approach to the provision of day care for children aged 06 months - 5 years. You must have a good working knowledge of the EYFS and the new developments in Foundation Learning, be able to assist with child routines around the lunch time period.

As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Accordingly, all staff will be subject to an ‘Enhanced’ DBS (formerly CRB) check, along with a Children’s Barred List check if in regulated activity. Any offers of appointment may be withdrawn if these checks prove to be unsatisfactory to the College. Self-disclosure will be required as part of the recruitment process. If you fail to make a full disclosure or provide sight of your DBS certificate then your offer of employment is likely to be withdrawn. What we offer
We provide education and training to young people aged from 14-18 years and to adult learners. This includes a large offering of 100+ courses at A-Levels to vocational in a range of subjects including business, IT, performing arts, graphic design, games design, social sciences, maths and science, health and social care, trade skills and catering, as well as pre-university entry courses such as Access to Higher Education and Higher National Certificates.
