Sunflower Nursery, a popular highly reputed Nursery in Al Ain seek a Nursery Manager to join a thriving team from 1 August, 2019.  Our nursery presently caters for children from 4 months to 4 year olds.       

The Nursery is embraced by parents who originate from different countries, which makes us a truly international community. We forsee the physical, emotional, social and cognitive needs of every child and provide guidance and support as required. The learning environment is carefully set out so that our students grow in independence and become more and more responsible for themselves and others. Our indoor and outdoor play areas provide opportunities for children to develop their social skills and their fine and gross motor skills. ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will show a genuine commitment to creating an inspiring and stimulating child-centred learning environment. Teachers will be highly motivated as exemplary practitioners demonstrating a deep understanding of personalised learning. Candidates should be committed to ongoing school improvement and feel comfortable in a climate of innovative and creative development. 

We welcome applications from candidates with the following sets of qualifications: 

• University Degree in Early Childhood or Education, or a university degree and certified professional certificate (CACHE Level 3/5) in Early Childhood leadership.

• Practical experience in early childhood or education for at least two (2) years with sufficient knowledge of administrative tasks. A sound knowledge of the nursery's curriculum and policies and procedures that relate to the care protection of children.

• Experience of no less than three cumulative years in educational leadership as a Manager in British curriculum Nurseries

Any joint honours degree which includes theology, criminology or religious education will not be accepted by Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge. 

There is no longer a need for teachers to have post-graduation teaching experience (in accordance with Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge Regulations which apply to all private schools in Abu Dhabi).

Please note two supporting references and a police clearance certificate or DBS no more than 3 months old must be provided.
