Smart Teachers is recruiting for a brilliant Nursery Nurse or Early Years TA to join a lovely independent primary school in Romford, Havering. This is a full time, long term position contracted for the academic year 2016/2017 and there is an option for the position to go permanent for the right candidate. This fee paying independent school offers pre-preparatory and preparatory education to both boys and girls aged 4-11 years, boasts envious facilities, tranquil grounds and fantastically behaved children. This role would suit either a newly qualified or experienced Nursery Nurse / Early Years Teaching Assistant who has recent experience working as a in a UK-based school or nursery setting.

About the Role

  • Nursery Nurse / Early Years Teaching Assistant role
  • Open to new qualified and experienced Level 2 and Level 3 practitioners
  • Working within the Pre-Prep section of the school
  • Full time role starting from September 2016
  • Competitive salary up to £18,000 pro rata (dependent on experience)
  • School Term time hours of 8.30pm-4.00pm
  • Small class sizes and well behaved pupils

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold Level 2 and or Level 3 in childcare
  • Have recent experience working in Nurseries and or Primary schools in the UK
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
