£21,199 - £22,956 per annum

36 Hours per week
Term time only – 39 weeks per year

Smallwood Primary is an expanding school, with a Language Resource Base and Children’s Centre, conveniently situated close to Earlsfield mainline station and Tooting Broadway underground. Our most recent OFSTED inspection (2014) described us as ‘a good school with outstanding leadership’. We are currently looking to recruit an outstanding and committed Nursery Nurse to join our highly motivated and enthusiastic team of support staff, who will help us to continue and contribute towards our forward momentum.

You will be working in our Early Years and Foundation stage.  The ideal candidate will have outstanding knowledge and experience using the EYFS Curriculum and will be able to complete reports, assess children and lead phonics sessions as well as plan activities and learning experiences. They will also be able to support the teacher with classroom organisation and administration. 

Experience of working in an Early Years setting and familiarity with the Foundation Stage Profiling process is essential. You will work under the direction of the class teacher and will be expected to support individuals and small groups of children. A minimum of G.C.S.E. grade C or above in English and Maths and NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or relevant extensive experience is required.
