About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Nurse to join the team from late August 2021. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Nurse to assist in the provision of the Nursery, ensuring the best possible environment, the highest standards, and exceptional care are provided for children. We are looking for an excellent practitioner who will be expected to provide high quality, flexible childcare for families.


This is a permanent role offering an actual salary of £14,506 (FTE £17,190) based on 37 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week of inset.


We are looking for someone demonstrates the following:

  • A minimum of a relevant NVQ Level 3
  • Previous, recent experience in a similar setting
  • Proven success in a school Nursery
  • Being independent and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent communicator at all levels
  • Ability to organise own work, identify priorities and meet outcomes, under the direction of the leadership team
  • Lead by example, demonstrating high levels of drive, enthusiasm and passion with proven ability to motivate others
  • Excellent written communication with ability to contribute to relevant documents and assessments
  • Up to date knowledge of the current EYFS framework and other relevant regulations
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children

Our academy caters for boys and girls from the age of 4-11 years. All staff work hard to ensure the best possible quality of education for the children in every year group.  It stands in beautiful grounds that we have developed specially to aid curriculum studies.


Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2020, our Trust will comprise 28 geographically organised academies (11 secondaries, 15 primaries and 2 special) educating over 16,000 students, and employing over 2,500 talented staff. We also have one further secondary academy in the development phase, due to open in September 2021. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North West Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. About Molehill Primary Academy

The Academy was opened in 1954 to serve the southern part of the Shepway Estate and the roads leading to it. It caters for boys and girls from the age of four to eleven years. It is well equipped, having its own library, dining hall, assembly hall, sports field and nature reserve.

There are approximately 281 children on roll, of which, 13 are designated places for hearing impaired children who may start the academy at the age of two and a half years.
