The Head Teacher of the Pre-Prep School, Hilary Nawrocka, invites applications for the part-time post of Nursery Practitioner, which becomes available from January 2020. This post will support working parents who need to be able to drop their children off from 7.00am and collect by 7.00pm in the evening.
We are seeking to appoint someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and a good communicator to encourage, support, guide and give practical help to children and parents within our thriving Pre-Prep School.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Early Years Childcare and experience with children of Nursery age are essential. The successful candidate will be working with children from 2 to 4 years of age.
We are looking for someone with a warm and welcoming smile, able to inspire the children and make every child feel special. The ability to join in with the children, no matter how silly the task, and have fun and laughter in the workplace is also important. We are a warm and welcoming team and are seeking to appoint a special person who enjoys teamwork and collaboration.
The hours of this role are flexible up to 42.5 hours per week, but working until 7.00pm Monday to Friday, for 52 weeks per year. We are able to accommodate flexible working and are happy to discuss the specific hours worked at interview.
The salary for this role is up to £20,896.19 per annum (based on an hourly rate of £9.46).

Ardingly College Nursery and Pre-Prep is a wonderful setting in which to work, learn and teach.
