Following recent retirements and relocation of staff an opportunity has arisen to come and teach in an outstanding school. We have had another great year and now wish to recruit new members of staff.

The Governors of this happy, friendly and very successful school invite teachers to apply for teaching posts for September 2016. We want really good, kind, caring and committed teachers who love teaching young children and you in turn will love teaching in our school. One of the vacancies offers the chance to take over and run our Nursery provision following the retirement of our longstanding teacher. It is a 25 place setting in a very attractive and well resourced environment.

We greatly value and reward our good teachers who must be able to teach in the relevant phase. Most of our teachers are judged to be typically outstanding and you must always strive to attain this high standard too. NQTs are well supported and usually quickly achieve outstanding status over time. Our support staff are equally talented in this school.

The school is very heavily oversubscribed, high achieving and very popular in the local community it serves.

The school is set in peaceful attractive grounds and is very well resourced especially in music, sports and ICT with suites of the latest iMacs and trolleys of high resolution iPads for every class. Every teacher is provided with the latest MacBook Air and an iPad to help them deliver high quality teaching and learning. Experience of using ICT to enhance teaching and learning is essential.

Generous non-contact time provided for a wide variety of music and loads of sporting activities.

Ofsted Section 5 Inspection judged us to be Outstanding in all areas November 2012

WDES Section 48 RE Inspection judged us to be equally outstanding in both categories of Catholic Education and also in the Catholic Life of the School March 2013.

The successful candidates for this post will have:

• A love of teaching and learning and a desire to be an outstanding teacher
• Experience of teaching at Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
• For the Nursery vacancy a good knowledge of the Early Years curriculum is essential
• Good ability with ICT and innovative ways of teaching
• A commitment to very high standards and a kind and caring attitude to those with SEND and difficulties in life
• An ability to get on easily with others in a supportive team and equally someone who enjoys a good laugh and doesn’t take life too seriously
• Really well behaved children who love to learn
• The ability to put into practice the school motto of: Shine with love, kindness and respect
