The Head Teacher of Ardingly College Pre-Prep School, Hilary Nawrocka, invites applications for the post of Nursery Room Leader, which becomes available from September 2019.
We are seeking to appoint a person who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and a good communicator to encourage, support, guide and give practical help to the process of learning within our thriving Pre-Prep School.
This role will involve working primarily with children aged two and three years old; therefore, experience working with this age group is essential. A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Early Years Childcare and GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at grade C or above are also required.
We are looking for someone with a warm and welcoming smile, able to inspire the children and make every child feel special. The ability to join in with the children, no matter how silly the task, and have fun and laughter in the workplace is also important.
The hours for this role are a minimum of 32.5 hours per week, usually 7.00am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday, for 52 weeks per year, although there may be additional hours if required. Attendance is required at three INSET days throughout the year, prior to the beginning of each term.
The salary is £18,100.06 per annum, pro rata of £23,669.00, based on an hourly rate of £10.71 (from 1st September 2019), including holiday.
