Smart Teachers is recruiting for a committed Class Teacher to deliver engaging and creative lessons to a class within in the Nursery. This position is at a much-improved primary school in Acton, West London, which is now an extremely popular place to work, led by a very realistic and supportive headteacher. For teachers with experience of working in an EAL heavy environment with varying degrees of behaviour, this Nursery class Teacher position could be a great opportunity for you. The position will be for the rest of the year to cover a maternity leave.


The role

Successful candidates should be excellent team players and have the desire to immerse themselves into a community the school has created excellent links with. Working alongside a partner teacher, you will need to create and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons to classes of mixed ability and high percentages of EAL, whilst adhering strictly to school safeguarding policies, and provide equal learning opportunities for all children.


The school

This school has many attractive features. It is set back from a quiet residential area, and boasts a large playground and Nursery. The Headteacher has invested in giving the building a facelift over the last couple of years, which has resulted in an open and inviting reception and very clean and spacious communal areas. The building is period in nature, with classrooms benefitting from plenty of natural light and high ceilings. The leadership team here are 100% committed to providing the very best for their children, and will offer great support to new employees.


Requirements

To be considered for the Nursery Teacher position, you will:

• Have QTS

• EYFS recent experience and specialism
