Nursery Teacher

Queen Mary Avenue Infant and Nursery School is a three form entry school with a 120 place Nursery. We pride ourselves on our welcoming aura, nurturing ethos and friendly, hardworking team of staff.

We are seeking to extend our team to integrate a second teacher into the Nursery Unit. The successful candidate must have high expectations of behaviour and learning, be enthusiastic and have a proven track record of good or better teaching.

The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team to ensure that our children get the very best start possible. They should have a secure understanding of the EYFS framework and the ability to jointly lead a small team of Early Years Practitioners. Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum would also be advantageous as they may at times be required to teach booster groups for the older infant range children.

In return, we can offer friendly and enthusiastic children who are keen to learn, as well as a happy and supportive team of staff. The Headteacher and Governors are committed to the professional development of their staff.
