The new nursery team at Mount Wise Community Primary are looking to recruit a hardworking, dedicated and passionate practitioner to join our outstanding team. The successful candidate will be a part of a wonderful team driving innovation and the school’s vision of delivering an outstanding education to all children.

Applicants will:

  • Care for and support our children, providing a nurturing and safe environment.
  • Be a good team player
  • Have the ability to develop positive behaviour strategies with children.
  • Have a good understanding of child development and early language acquisition.

The role will include intimate care of children in the nursery provision.

We are keen to meet candidates who are experienced and interested in working with pupils with SEND.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of working within a nursery provision, with a working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Experience within a primary school
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be passionate about and have expertise in SEND
  • GCSEs Maths and English C and above or equivalent, and be able to illustrate good literacy and numeracy skills
  • NVQ2/3 or equivalent qualification or be working towards the qualification
