Our intention is to transform the lives of children from disadvantaged backgrounds - do you enjoy working with children and new challenges?
Millbrook Academy is a 11-18 school with huge potential and we are proud to serve the communities around Brockworth and surrounding areas. As a learning community we currently serve 540 pupils, and are part of Academies Enterprise Trust network of schools.
We are currently in the Ofsted category of ‘Special Measures’ and our journey out of this category has not been easy. We know where we stand and have high aspirations and a rigorous plan to turn the school around to a grading of ‘good’ and need team players to join us on this exciting journey. As a new teaching professional you will be joining a positive and progressive culture that all staff have bought into.
We have a curriculum fit for purpose, a behaviour policy that will allow teachers to teach and students to learn and an experienced Principal and Senior Leadership team.
We are seeking to appoint a patient, enthusiastic and caring person with a warm personality. The individual will have the ability to form safe, secure and supportive relationships and gain the confidence of children who are behaviourally challenging or socially withdrawn.
As the sponsor, AET believes that all young people deserve to become world-class learners – to learn, enjoy, succeed and thrive in a first rate educational environment with the best facilities, the best teaching and the most up-to-date resources available to them. In each of our academies, you will benefit from visionary, inspirational and dynamic leadership and be empowered to develop your own skills with access to world-class CPD and Talent Management programmes. You will also be entitled to the following benefits: a health cash plan, vehicle affinity scheme, childcare vouchers and Westfield rewards.
