Oboe Teacher

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Oboe Teacher to join our team of visiting music staff.

Music plays a central role in the life of the school. Many students have individual instrumental and/or singing lessons and there is a thriving culture of involvement in extra-curricular music-making. There are numerous opportunities for students to perform both as instrumentalists and as singers, including our annual major production of a musical in Durham’s Gala Theatre.

Visiting music teachers are employed by the school and their work is organised and overseen by the Director of Music.

This a part time post – there are currently 2 students learning oboe.

Closing date for applications: noon, Friday 10 December 2021
Interviews will be held shortly after the deadline date.

The date at which the successful candidate will be expected to take up the appointment will be discussed at interview.
