We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join the Forest Bridge team as an Occupational Therapist to deliver OT services for children with Autism as required throughout the school. Forest Bridge school is a brand new, special free school, which opened in September 2015 for children and young people with a primary diagnosis of autism. All pupils have some degree of speech, language and social communication needs. 

The school delivers the national curriculum underpinned by the principles of ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis). We currently cater for 58 pupils between the ages of 4 and 13 years. The school will expand to cater for a maximum of 96 pupils over the next few years and cater to age 16.

 Forest Bridge School is a rapidly developing, small, friendly school with opportunity for joint working with other professionals.   

The successful therapist will be responsible for providing an individualized package of care for each pupil and for providing staff training. You will join a dedicated team of Allied Health Professionals including Speech and Language Therapy, Drama and Art Therapy and you will work closely with the Teaching and ABA staff. You will receive regular supervision – management from school and professional if required.
