Job Title:          Occupational Therapist

Location:          Stretton, Rutland

Salary:              Up to £19,800 per annum (actual salary)

Hours:              22.5 hrs per week

Contract:          Permanent, Part Time (52 weeks)

 

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our clinical division at The Shires - Stretton covering multiple sites across education and residential care within the area. Working collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our children and young people with developmental trauma, autism, ADHD, complex and SEMH needs.

About the role:

Based within The Shires – Stretton you will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of Occupational Therapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. In addition you will provide information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies, as required.

Location: The Shires; Stretton supporting residential homes within the region as required. The Shires at Stretton offers integrated residential, education and care packages for young people between the ages of 11 and 19 years old with a range of complex needs.

Essential Criteria:

Recognised and relevant Occupational Therapist degree

Valid and up to date HCPC registration

Driving licence and access to vehicle

Experience working with Children and Young People

Experience of working within an educational setting would be advantageous
