Oak Wood School is looking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced Office Manager who will line manage the administrative staff and ensure the smooth and effective running of the office and all administrative and communicative systems at the school. You will have outstanding organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise workflow and organise others to ensure that the priorities of the school are met. The successful candidate will have previously worked in a similar role, and must be resilient, quick to learn and able to take on a number of different tasks. A calm and positive approach to work is vital.

To be successful in this role you will be organised, confident, and have an ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality. You will need to be able to deal sensitively with a range of staff and visitors, have acute attention to detail and be able to work showing initiative. You must have demonstrable experience in a busy administrative role and will already possess an understanding managing a busy team. This role is essential in supporting the senior team with the smooth running of the school.

The successful candidate will have a good level of education (to at least A Level standard) and proven experience of working in a busy environment.
