We are a national group of schools which aims to provide excellent education to children and young people across the country. Our primary purpose is to awaken a love of learning in all – children, students and teachers – and to do this within a value rich and value driven context that recognises the unique value of each individual person and our responsibility towards each other. Distinctively our group includes schools in both the public and private sectors, working together for mutual benefit. 

Values and vision

Founded on the belief that education must nurture, encourage and celebrate children as individuals, Woodard Schools prides itself on its exceptional pastoral care. It has four core values: excellence, courage, respect and perseverance. The group has its own charitable trust, which encourages prospective pupils to apply regardless of their financial means. Woodard Schools runs the Excellent Pupil Programme (EPP), which supports higher-attaining and/or highly engaged children. The EPP operates in place of the more typical "gifted and talented" programmes in many other schools.
