Who we are looking for?

In 2017, Russel Group member Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and CEG Digital partnered to create Queen Mary Online, a portfolio of flexible learning courses which equip students with valuable skills and knowledge, without interrupting income and career progression.  All Queen Mary Online courses are developed and lead by University academics.

We are looking to add to our roster of talented, self-employed tutors with the appointment of a tutor to Queen Mary Online’s MSc in Global Public Health.

The Course:

This MSc Global Public Health is a wide-ranging post-graduate programme with an emphasis on the social, political, economic, and ecological determinants of health, and with a focus on health policy analysis. Students will develop the competencies to work in health policy and health service delivery, at the local, national, and international levels, and in governmental and international bodies and NGOs. An understanding of research and epistemology will be integrated into the modules, providing an opportunity for some students to pursue further academic development in the form of a PhD.

The Modules:

The module Planetary Health introduces various analytical perspectives on environmental change on a local, regional and global basis and how this is related to both human and planetary health. Students will explore the Anthropocene, and critically engage in diverse perspectives, data analysis, future climate scenario projections and challenges such as biodiversity loss to human health.

Do you have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and confidentially? Do you have experience of contemporary professional practice in the subject area? If so, this could be the role for you, and we would love to hear from you.
