St Joseph’s College is a leading Independent day and boarding school for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 18 . The school is located in Ipswich , the county town of Suffolk, situated only 65 miles North-East of London, with excellent transport links.
The College is seeking an Operations Manager of the highest calibre, to help us deliver our ambitious vision and strategy.
You and your team will develop and drive the infrastructure and operations required to support the College by the effective management and delivery of non-financial support services to all parts of the College. You will ensure the facilities and Infrastructure projects are delivered in an efficient and cost-effective manner, meeting regulatory requirements and providing a high quality of service to all members of the community.
To succeed you will have proven experience of leading and managing health and safety, estates and facilities, preferably in a school or similar environment. You will demonstrate the ability to lead and develop a diverse team. You must be able to plan and deliver projects and programmes, prioritise tasks and allocate finite resources.
You will be a decision-taker who can communicate effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. You will be IT literate with an ability to contribute strategically to the wider development of an organisation whilst retaining a strong grasp of operational detail.
