Applications are invited for an Opportunity Class Coordinator (Years 5 and 6) at an Independent school located in the Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. It is a coeducational school that caters for Pre-School to Year 12. Digital literacy and the development of computational, design and system thinking skills have long been a fundamental part of the students’ learning. The schools fosters students’ passions for computing and technology, within a School-wide culture of innovation.
About the Role:
• Full time permanent role commencing Term 1, 2022
• Overseeing the Opportunity Class Program for Years 5 and 6
• Coordinator 1 Allowance
• Applicants must have previous experience teaching Gifted and
Talented students
• Applicants will ideally hold tertiary qualifications in Gifted Education
Selection Criteria:
• Hold an Education Teaching Degree recognised in Australia
• Be registered or have the ability to be registered with NSW Education
Standards Authority (NESA) and NSW Working with Children Check
(WWCC)
• Ability to provide current and teaching related references from Middle
Management/Executive Leadership level (please note referees will not
be contacted until you have given permission and all applications are
treated confidential)
• Have the right to work in Australia
