The successful candidate will be an excellent organist, academically strong, a fine musician, and a skilled administrator who will teach Music throughout the School.
Rugby School aims to be recognised as the top non-specialist music school in the United Kingdom and is very proud of its music programme in Chapel. The current holder of BBC Young Chorister of the Year is a pupil at Rugby School and the choir is soon to broadcast Choral Evensong on BBC Radio 3.
Rugby is renowned for its highly successful and innovative approach to education. As a coaching school we are looking for staff who are committed to professional development and personal growth.
The School is a boarding and day school in full operation seven days per week including evenings during term time. Pastoral, co-curricular, cultural and sports activities take place outside normal day - school hours. All staff are expected to make a full contribution. Accommodation is provided for all full-time teaching staff.
