Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative Out of Hours Assistant to join our school which has recently been judged as Good by Ofsted. This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference for pupils attending our afterschool Youth Club.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and imaginative practitioner; with the ability to create a stimulating environment by preparing a range of activities for pupils aged 4 to 11. Relevant experience in childcare or Playwork would be required with qualifications in childcare, Food Hygiene and First Aid desirable.

The Rydal Academy is a large and vibrant primary school for pupils aged 3 to 11. The school provides nursery education for children from their third birthday and is structured in three classes per year group for Reception through to Year 6.
The school is housed in an expansive building with a bright, purposeful learning environment. The school benefits from extensive grounds, including a multi-use games area, nature garden, allotment, four Early Years outdoor learning areas, field, outdoor classroom and two playgrounds.
The school provides an extensive and free extra-curricular and extended curriculum offer as well as free wraparound childcare from 7:30am until 6pm.
