Out of School Club Assistant
based at The Florence Nightingale Academy
Grade 1 Points 1 to 2 £17,842 to £18,198 FTE
Actual Salary £9,249.64 to £9,434.20
22.5 hours per week - 7.30 am to 9.00 am and then 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday, term time only
We are seeking a fun, dynamic, responsible, creative and enthusiastic person to be assist with the day-to-day running of the Out of School Club, providing engaging and high-quality activities for the children. The role will include supervising the children, being approachable to our parents and above all providing a fun, nurturing and safe environment for the children in our care.
The candidate must have:
- At least a Level 2 qualification in Playwork/childcare (or equivalent)
- Experience with working with 4 – 11 year olds.
The Out of School Club Assistant will actively embrace the Trust’s core principles of Ethical Leadership to ensure an inclusive and positive environment for all.

We welcome applications from a wide range of backgrounds and experience. Previous experience of working in a school environment is not essential.
