Outdoor Educator - Reflections Small School

We are seeking a full-time Outdoor Educator. This role will involve working with Reflections’ approach in both the woodland and beach settings guided by the Forest School Lead and Beach School Lead. Reflections draws inspiration from the pre-schools of Reggio Emilia and the forest nurseries of Denmark. You will be supported to develop your understanding of our approach. You will be responsible for supporting both our Beach School and Forest School teams throughout the week.

Forest School

A group of up to 12 children aged 3 - 7 years, travel by minibus to local woodland each morning for 39 weeks a year to our Forest School base.

Beach School

A group of up to 12 children aged 3 - 7 years, travel by minibus to the local beach, where we have a beach hut as a base for 39-52 weeks of the year.

You will be an experienced Early Years educator with a minimum qualification of NVQ level III and with an ideal track record of supporting outdoor learning. Previous forest skills or training is desirable. A full UK driving license is desirable but not essential.
