Outdoor Learning Teacher

Part Time Permanent Position

(Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1045am to 2pm)

At Langley Hall Primary Academy we focus on preparing children for life. We do this by delivering an imaginative, creative and inspiring curriculum which motivates children to want to learn, while developing their transferable skills . We believe it is important for all children to experience outdoor learning . The school also devotes time each day for groups of children to grow their own fruit and vegetables and look after small animals at our farm. The Outdoor Learning Teacher will lead of tactivities at our school farm assisted by an LSA.

The timetable will be as follows.

10.45 Preperation

11.00 Collect Children

11.15-12.15 Lesson at the farm and return to school

12.15- 12.45 Planning time

12.45 - 1.45 Lesson time

1.45 - 14.00 Preparation Time

Salary commiserate with qualifications and experience but would suit a recently retired teacher.

Langley Hall Primary Academy opened in September 2011 under the government’s free school initiative. The teaching of numeracy and literacy are a key priority and is combined with a major focus on the teaching of the Creative Arts.
