About the job

You would help deliver high quality early learning and childcare through the outdoors. You would also support and assist the Team Leader in the running of Stramash services in the Elgin and Moray area, ensuring that the provision is of the highest quality and that the service continues to develop and grow, meeting both local and national needs.

Stramash is a social enterprise and a registered charity that uses the outdoor environment to provide life changing experiences while at the same time promoting understanding and stewardship of the environment. We currently have a number of projects we are working on including an apprenticeship scheme for local young people and a wide range of outdoor learning projects. We also own and manage a 30 acre woodland of ancient oak trees and operate three outdoor pre-school nurseries in different parts of Scotland.

We seek to make a positive difference in the lives of children, young people and adults through the Scottish outdoors. We help people realise their full potential in life through the outdoors. We encourage the future generations to understand, protect and enhance Scotland’s unique environment, culture and communities through experiential learning, holistic education and stewardship
