Ealing Primary Centre is a highly successful Pupil Referral Unit for primary aged children with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. We provide a highly regarded outreach service to Ealing’s mainstream primary schools, with support that includes specialist teaching, planning and assessment of children with SEMH. About you
We are looking for an exceptional teacher to join our team at Ealing Primary Centre who either has, or would like to develop, their skills in outreach work. They will have good, recent experience of working as a teacher in a mainstream or special provision or as an outreach teacher.
The successful candidate will work for Ealing Primary Centre, spending the majority of their time supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Difficulties in schools around Ealing and completing assessments. They will also teach at Ealing Primary Centre at times.
They will:
* Be genuinely committed to working with primary aged pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties and to providing support and advice that helps them to successfully engage in their mainstream school.
* Have proven experience of successful positive behaviour management skills, particularly with regard to children with additional needs.
* Be flexible, highly motivated and creative with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Be ready to work in an established multi- disciplinary team with a range of professionals.

On-going training and induction packages are planned to ensure high quality work with pupils and schools.
