Good Samaritan Catholic College is seeking an outstanding educational leader to join the College Executive and Leadership Team. The successful candidate will lead the continued development of this new and growing College. As Head of College, you will be responsible for leading the Identity and Formation Programs, Wellbeing and Pastoral processes and overseeing aspects of the College Administration. The role will be refined and further developed as the College grows from an anticipated enrolment of 825 students in 2022 to 1500 students during the next six years with a third Head of College appointed when the enrolment passes 1400 students. Outstanding leaders who display creativity, innovative thinking and the ability to work collaboratively to ensure student success and wellbeing are encouraged to apply. Good Samaritan Catholic College is a Prep to Year 12 College located at Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast.  The College opened in 2019 and is steadily growing towards full enrolment. The first seniors will graduate from the College in 2024. As part of Brisbane Catholic Education, our co-educational College aims to be a welcoming and supportive community of people who respect ourselves, each other and the environment. Brisbane Catholic Education invites applications for the position of Head of Campus with the capability to support the Principal in:

  • building the religious life of the school and a vibrant Catholic identity within the school community;
  • growing the engagement, progress, achievement and wellbeing of each student in the school; and
  • building a sustainable school community, ensuring stewardship of resources with transparency, accountability and compliance.

 

Estimated Start Date: Commencing January 2022
Initial Contract Period: Initial 4 year contract phase with a further 8 years subject to satisfactory performance in the role
Classified Salary and Range: Currently $139,870 to $153,186 plus Super
Campus: P-12 -  Enrolments - 621

The successful applicant may be required to undertake teaching duties as part of this role.
