Haydon is a large, friendly and creative school in North West London. We have been judged as outstanding by OFSTED. 

THE ROLE: 37 hours, 41 weeks per year (term time plus additional weeks) 

  • Full secretarial support to Headteacher and SLT  
  • Effective operation of Headteacher’s office 
  • Management of SLT’s diaries 
  • Maintenance of policies folder 
  • Arrange, convene and minute formal meetings 
  • Arrangement of hospitalities for SLT 
  • Supporting Administration Services Team as needed 
  • Taking care of internal and external enquiries both on the telephone and in person 
  • Coordinate the School Calendar and produce an accessible document which includes all events. Keep this up to date throughout the year 
  • Arrange student and staff disciplinary/appeal hearings as required, clerk and minute meetings 
  • Support SLT organised events such as end of term events and Open Evenings, leading on and preparing these as required

Haydon School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Middlesex serving pupils from the age of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Eastcote, Pinner has approximately 2000 students on record. 

Haydon school was established in 1977 and converted to academy status in 2011 and was identified as outstanding by Ofsted in 2007.

The secondary school promotes equality and works to offer individuals opportunities to help them get the best out of their learning experience. Haydon School wishes to develop the student's sense of self-awareness, self-reliance and ability to work independently, and strives to provide an enriching and balanced curriculum. The school nurtures children so that they are fully prepared for the challenges of an ever-changing society, and works to develop their global understanding. Pupils are encouraged to get involved in extra-curricular activities to further their opportunities and expand their skills outside the classroom, which range from sports and art clubs. Incentives to develop leadership skills include The Duke of Edinburgh Award and Student Voice.
