We are looking for a highly effective individual to join our team as PA to the Headteacher.
The Bishop of Llandaff is an 11-18 co-educational Church-in-Wales High School. Located in the heart of Llandaff, the school is heavily oversubscribed and students attend from all over the city and in the surrounding authorities.
Standards at the school are very high. In 2016, the school achieved record-breaking examination results at both GCSE and A Level for the second year in a row. At GCSE, 99% of students gained 5 or more A*-C grades at GCSE, with 89% including English and mathematics; 35% of students achieved 5 or more A*-A grades, while nearly 40% of all grades were at A*-A. The pass rate at A Level was 99%, with 86% gaining A*-C and 64% of all grades at A*-B. However, the school is more than just about examination outcomes. Students take part in a broad range of activities that help them become "well-rounded" and our strong Christian ethos helps shape our students to become positive role models in our society. It genuinely is a happy place to learn and work!
The current post-holder, Joanne Hudson, has been promoted to a position at Cathedral School after six years of dedicated service to the school. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is highly competent and organised to assist the Headteacher and other staff with the smooth running of the school.
