Job overview

PA to the Head and Bursar

Mount House School is a small, co-educational independent day school for students aged 11 – 18 years located on a stunning rural site on Camlet Way in the London Borough of Barnet.  With 217 students currently on roll, the School has ambitious plans and investment to grow to 350 in the coming years.  Small class sizes and modern teaching methods supported by outstanding pastoral care combine to ensure each student achieves their best, whilst a broad and varied co-curricular programme equips them with the skills needed to thrive in adult life.  The School’s vision is underpinned by ASPIRE, values that enable each student to be Adaptable, Supportive, Principled, Inquisitive, Resilient and Excellent.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Personal Assistant, to provide confidential secretarial support to the Head and Bursar to enable the efficient and effective running of the School.

The successful candidate will be warm and personable with excellent people skills. This is a senior role within the school, acting as the first line of contact for the Head.

This is an important role in the school and applicants will have had extensive secretarial and administrative experience and be able to manage many different tasks while retaining complete confidentiality and discretion.  The candidate must display attention to detail and be able to demonstrate high standards of presentation, both verbal and written to reflect the nature of the school. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and able to plan and manage their own workload and be content to be part of a hard-working team with a strong personal work ethic.

If you would like to join our highly motivated and talented staff, we would be pleased to hear from you.
