Paedratric Occupational Therapist

We are looking for an experienced paediatric Occupational Therapists to join our team at Fairley House School in Central London SW1.Band 6/7  

Fairley House is an outstanding specialist Independent school meeting the needs of pupils ages 5-16 with dyslexia, dyspraxia and  dyscalculia. We currently have approx. 180 pupils on roll.

You will work as part of a transdisciplinary team of specialist teachers, speech and language therapists and educational psychologists. You will be required to carry out a range of standardised assessments and clinical observations, provide reports and keep notes on progress, you will contribute to parent conferences.  Treatment will include one to one, small group and class based sessions – developing gross and fine motor skills, handwriting, and classroom tool use and keyboarding. You will provide consultation and advice to teachers in relation to sensory issues.  You will be part of a specialist team supporting the development of literacy and numeracy, contributing to IEPs and annual reviews. Training or experience of Sensory Integration principals and/or co-op approach is essential.
