Part-time (0.5 FTE) Specialist Speech, Language and Communication Needs Teacher

We would like to appoint a teacher to lead a new provision, based within Pound Park Nursery School, but delivering a service for children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) across the Royal Borough of Greenwich from four satellite locations including an Outreach service and training offer. You will manage a team of four Outreach workers, and work together with the Speech and Language Therapist to deliver a range of intensive specialist interventions to children with SLCN.

Graded as outstanding since 2008, Pound Park has continued to provide quality early years’ education since 1944. The ethos of our nursery school is to offer the best early learning experience for our children as well as exceptional support to all our families.

References will be requested for those shortlisted only and prior to interview.

Interviews will be held w/c 6th February and will include a presentation on developing the communication and language skills of children with a social communication or speech and language difficulty, through the provision of specialist knowledge and skills.
