Job overview

The Psychology department at Crosfields School is an important part of the key foundations of our new and forward thinking Seniors section of the school. With great pupil uptake and very strong results, this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious teacher to build on the already strong offering.

We consistently have multiple sets in each of Years 10 & 11 which allows for interesting trips, practical research, and extending able pupils. The excellent facilities and strong staff team make this a great option for your next teaching role.  

It is expected that the candidate will enjoy contributing to the whole life of the school. All teaching staff are a Form Teacher within a House, involved in whole school initiatives and the co-curricular programme.

This position is part-time (0.5).

Key Objectives

  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of pupils as a teacher/form tutor. 
  • To promote high standards of behaviour through the effective teaching of individuals, groups, and classes.
